A fresh 16-byte salt and 12-byte IV for every note. PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations derives a 256-bit key. AES-GCM authenticates the encrypted contents. Files expose format parameters and approximate note length, never the passphrase. Closing this page discards unsaved work. Clipboard copies remain under your device's control.
